AŞ, we attach importance to the security and privacy of your personal data and in this respect, we present the following matters for your information in order to fulfil the requirements of our obligation of disclosure within the scope of the Legislation No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("Law") regarding all kinds of personal data belonging to all persons associated with Echinus Hotels, including our guests who utilise our services.
The protection of personal data is among the basic policies of Echinus Hotels, and throughout the existence of our business, it has given priority importance to the confidentiality of personal data, adopted it as a working principle and instructed its employees to work in line with this principle. Echinus Hotels accepts and undertakes to comply with all the responsibilities imposed by the PDP Legislation. With full awareness of this responsibility and as the Data Controller, we process, record, transfer, share and store your personal data as we have explained, within the limits prescribed by the official legislation.

Our organisation holds personal data such as identity, communication, religion/belief, health, financial, biometric, education and other sensitive personal data in types such as candidate employees, employees, former employees, customers, guests, suppliers, visitors.
Your personal data obtained in accordance with the reasons of lawfulness expressed in the laws of the Republic of Turkiye or with the consent of the data owners are processed by Echinus Hotels for the following purposes:
To be able to make your customer registrations and to carry out transactions within this framework;

In addition to these, your personal data is also processed in order to ensure that the said purposes and legal obligations can be fulfilled within the framework of our legal obligations arising from the relevant legislation, in particular the Identity Information Legislation No. 1774, the Legislation No. 5651 on the Regulation of Publications on the Internet and the Combating Crimes Committed through These Publications and related regulations, the Legislation No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce and related regulations, the Labour Legislation No. 4857, the Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102, the Turkish Penal Code No. 5237 and the Legislation No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data.

When the purpose that requires processing according to Legislation No. 6698 disappears and the periods determined by the legislation expire, your personal data which has been processed for the purposes specified in this document will be made anonymous by us and will continue to be used or deleted. You have the right to withdraw your explicit consent regarding the processing and use of your personal data at any time.

Your personal data may be transferred to service providers such as information technology, software, archive, printing house, card printing and distribution companies whose services are used in the country and abroad in order to provide you with this service, and other third parties with whom we cooperate domestically and abroad, our board of directors, our business / solution partners and legally authorised public and private institutions and organisations, provided that it is limited to the reason that requires transfer within the scope of the Legislation and related regulations for the purposes described above.

Your personal data may be collected for the above-mentioned purposes, in accordance with the basic principles stipulated in the Legislation and based on the legal grounds stipulated in the laws specified in paragraph 2 of Article 5 of the Legislation, the establishment and / or performance of the contract, the fulfilment of the legal obligation and the legitimate interest of our Company, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the person concerned. It can be collected from all kinds of verbal, written or electronic media through automatic or non-automatic methods.
Your Rights Regarding the Protection of Personal Data
Within the framework of the Law, your personal data, you have the right to learn whether these have been processed or not, to request information about whether they have been processed, to learn the purpose of processing and whether they are used by us in accordance with these purposes, to learn the third parties to whom it is transferred domestically or abroad, to request correction in case of any incomplete or incorrect processing, to request deletion or destruction or anonymisation in case the reasons requiring their processing no longer exist, in the cases or in case of correction, to request notification to third parties to whom data is transferred. In accordance with Article 13 of the Legislation, our Company will finalise application requests according to the nature of the request, within a maximum of 30 (thirty) days. Should there be a cost required for the transaction, the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board will be applied. If the request is rejected, the reason(s) for rejection will be justified in writing or electronically.
Echinus Hotels reserves the right to update this "Clarification Text on the Protection of Personal Data" within the framework of changes that may be made in the applicable official legislation.
